Third, bamboo generates virtually no waste; every part—from leaves to roots—can be utilized, and even bamboo residues can serve as a carbon‑based feedstock. Fourth, current methods of disposing of plastic waste—primarily landfilling or allowing it to enter waterways and the ocean—cause significant harm to marine life and human health. Plastic poses a grave threat to both the planet and humanity, making a global ban on single‑use plastics an inevitable trend.
